Given the current situation with Covid-19, the Elders have made some changes in how we meet together as a church family.
Services this Sunday will be streamed live at 10.30am and 6.30pm. The services will be online only - there are no public services in the church building. Services will be available on Youtube via our Sunday services page. The 10.30am service will include an all-age slot called Bitesize which Jay will lead. We encourage as many who are able to join together remotely at these times. As a church family, gathering together to worship God, even if we can’t see one another, is a blessing. For those who can’t do that, or are looking after children, the services will be available on the YouTube channel afterwards.
Small groups will continue. Along with Sundays, they will be a very important part of church life. If you are already in a small group your small group leaders will be in touch about how your group will work. We’d love everyone to be part of a small group and will be starting a new group this week. If you would like to join a small group please contact Fiona MacKenzie on email@example.com.
We will be sending weekly emails to the congregation each Friday. If you don't currently receive the weekly emails and would like to be added to the weekly email distribution list, or if you have any questions about church life, please contact Naomi Wright on firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a church family, we are here to care for one another. Many people are feeling the strain of current circumstances and need the love and support of the church family. There are structures in place, through small groups and the Pastoral Ministry Group. Beyond these, if you are feeling isolated, anxious or need practical help please get in touch with Robin on email@example.com and someone will help you.
Robin writes weekly on 'How should we pray for a nation in a time of crisis?'. You can read his blog here.
