If you’re just looking into Christianity and would like an opportunity to investigate the Bible’s claims about Jesus, Mark’s Gospel is a great place to start. The idea of reading the Bible can seem daunting, so why not start with a small section – the first section of Mark’s Gospel.
We suggest that you start by reading Mark 1:1-13. This passage provides a great introduction to Jesus’ identity. The Read Mark resource will help explain the passage to you as you read it.

Great! Maybe you could ask them to read Mark 1:1-13 with you? You could do it over video call or by meeting in a coffee shop – whichever works best for you.
The rest of Mark’s Gospel can be found on Bible Gateway and the resources to help you can be found on the Proclamation Trust’s website. This includes written materials and videos to help you as you work through Mark’s Gospel together.
