Walking

 
A few times a year, there's an opportunity to explore scenic areas around Edinburgh. They are an excellent way to get to know people. The walks are for anyone and are advertised on the website and on Sundays. There's no need to have a church connection to come. 

Waterproof clothing is needed and proper walking boots depending on the walk. Sometimes you're also asked to bring a packed lunch. The walks are typically advertised at least two weeks prior to the walk itself, so watch out for details. Please do come along!

The next church walk will be on 10 May, 11.30am. 
This will be a circular walk from Tweedbank Station along the River Tweed to Leaderfoot Viaduct.
There will be the option of walking a shorter circular route to Melrose.
The start is accessible by train from Edinburgh or lifts may be available if needed.
