Chalmers Women's day


The Chalmers Women's Day is a day of Bible teaching for the women in our church family of all ages and stages, to strengthen our love for Jesus, each other, and the wider church family.


Main Sessions: Teaching during the main sessions will be from Amy Wicks, who is the Associate for Women and Pastoral Care at St Silas Church in Glasgow. Amy will be talking to us from the book of Acts and these sessions will also include testimonies from members of our own church family.

Seminars: In the afternoon there will be a choice between the following topical seminars:
- Living without fear? Exploring what the Bible says about delighting in the fear of the Lord
- Living with hope in light of the new creation
- Finding joy in the ups and downs of life

Timetable:
9:30 - Doors open and breakfast provided
10:00 - Session 1: Song, testimonies and Bible talk
11:15 - Coffee Break
11:45 - Seminars
1:00 - Lunch (bring your own!)
2:00 - Session 2: Song, testimony and Bible talk
3:15 - Finish

This is a free event, and women of all ages from across the church family are welcome to come along!

Tea, coffee and cakes will be provided throughout the day. Lunch will not be provided, so please bring a packed lunch or feel free to head into Morningside to pick up something to eat.
