Walking
A few times a year, there's an opportunity to explore scenic areas around Edinburgh. They are an excellent way to get to know people. The walks are for anyone and are advertised on the website and on Sundays. There's no need to have a church connection to come.
Waterproof clothing is needed and proper walking boots depending on the walk. Sometimes you're also asked to bring a packed lunch. The walks are typically advertised at least two weeks prior to the walk itself, so watch out for details. Please do come along!
Upcoming walks:
Saturday 8 March, 11am - Circular Route to Newtongrange from Gorebridge Station
This walk will be approximately 7 miles or there is an option to return from Newtongrange by bus or train. The start is accessible by the 29 or 48 buses. This walk has uphill stretches, uneven paths and can be muddy.
Monday 10 March, 11am - Cramond Promenade.
If you'd prefer a shorter walk, this will be an easier walk along the Cramond Promenade and includes stopping for a cuppa.
For more information or to sign up, please contact Laura in the church office.
